Come to a tasting tour of Muddy Water Coffee Roasters, a local craft coffee roaster located at 325 Ayer Rd. in Harvard, Mass! Muddy Water’s Tim Van Sipe will lead us through his roasting process, explaining the ins and outs of craft roasting beans from around the world. At the end, attendees will enjoy pour-over samples of Muddy Water’s coffee! You’ll also be able to purchase fresh beans to take home!

A private COZY CO-OP GATHERING in West Concord! All winter, Owners are hosting Cozy Co-op Gatherings across Metro West. Just invite a few friends and neighbors, pour some hot cocoa or wine, and the Co-op’s Lorne Bell will come share all the info and answer any questions. He’ll even bring locally baked treats and help with the invites 🙂

We’ll be tabling at the Sudbury Co-OP Pre-School’s Passport Day on Wednesday, Jan. 31 from 11-12! This is a private event for the preschool’s families, and we’re honored to share our locally sourced, community owned grocery store with the Sudbury Co-op Preschool community!
Like the Assabet Village Co-op Market, SCP is owned and operated by its members (parents). Parents spend time in classrooms alongside professional educators, and the school’s mission emphasizes social responsibility. Enrollment for 2018/2019 is now open! The Assabet Village Co-op Market will be cooking and serving food at Open Table’s new location in Maynard, and WE NEED YOU! We’re looking for 7 Co-op Owner volunteers – 2 cooks and 5 servers – to cook, serve, and clean up a meal for local residents. We’ll be led by an experienced chef – all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and good hearts! This will be fun!

We’re honored to be speaking about the Assabet Village Co-op Market to members of the Hudson Rotary Club on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 6pm! This meeting is open to the public, so come hear all about our locally sourced, community owned grocery store! The meeting will be held at the Hudson Portuguese Club, 13 Port Street in Hudson.

We’re psyched to join Mass Audubon Drumlin Farm’s Annual Woolapalooza! Celebrate the coming of spring with a festival featuring fiber, food, fun, and all things sheep! While you’re there, stop by our table to hear about our locally sourced, community owned grocery store! You can become an Owner on the spot!
Festival highlights include:
Drumlin Farm’s new spring babies
A sheep shearing demonstration
A “sheep-to-Sweater Interpretive Trail” to learn how fleece on
sheep becomes the warm woolen sweater you wear
Hands-on activities for all ages
Local fiber artisans and sell their handmade products
Lunch—made with all natural, locally grown Drumlin Farm food—will be available for purchase. Tickets are $15 Members • $17 Nonmembers. Free for children under age 2. Advance registration is not available. Your entrance fee provides critical support for Drumlin Farm’s education and conservation programs.
